OpenCarry.org needs your help! We plan to keep the pressure on in Texas by placing a billboard calling for Open Carry outside the capital where legislators and constituents will see it in the run-up to the 2009 legislative session.

We had a donor who had agreed to match all donations we received until we met our goal of $5,000. And you guys came through in a big way! The original $5,000 will allow us to keep the billboard up for 2 months.

Now that we have achieved our initial goal, we are planning on continuing to raise funds as well as investing our own money to keep the billboard in place into the legislative session if possible.

All members who donate at least $10 to this effort will be recognized as "Activist Members" on the forum while all members who join Mike and I in donating at least $100 will be recognized as "Founder's Club Members".
